Iron Man

Iron Man

The first official pics of the movie Iron Man armour have been released. I like it. Its very similar to Tony’s current suit in the comics, which I’ve slowly gotten used to.

However, I’d missed this previous shot that was released:

That rendition of his grey suit looks spot on to me. I must admit, with a director that obviously seems to care a great deal about the source material, a fantastic actor as the lead, and now these pictures, I’m really looking forward to this film.

Saw the grey suit a while back. Surprised at how much like his current suit the movie one looks. Makes it easyer for Marvel to sell Iron Man comics on the back of as well.

Rumours are that there will be 3 suits in the film, the grey one, his standard one and a “Mobile Gun platform” the 3rd I thought could be something attached on to the second suit, modular addons or something.

Yeah, I noticed that the grey armour is listed as the mark 1 armour, and the red and gold suit listed as the mark 3. So clearly there’s a mark 2 going to turn up somewhere. Although a mobile gun platform doesn’t really sound right for a mark 2.
