Transform!

To coincide with the release of the new Transformers movie, Black Lab have released a cover of Lion’s theme to the 1986 movie. They’ve done a cracking job, even referencing some of the Vince DiCola score.

Here’s the music video they compiled to go with the track:

    Thats pretty good. DO like the choes of SYnth master vince dacola’s origional. Guess it won’t be in the film though.

    Any word on the track Stan Bush submitted?

    Sadly it doesn’t look like Stan Bush’s track got accepted for the official soundtrack, but he’s including it, and another Transformers track on his new album.

    I’m thinking the Black Lab effort is pretty much the same. I assume they’d submitted it as soundtrack fodder and it got knocked back for not being rap, hip-hop or otherwise trendy. To be honest, from the vibe I’m getting musically from the film, I think the soundtrack could well be utter mince.
