Frankly its not a great phone, has a control system that is only shared by a couple of phones out on teh market currently (But apple will still call it unique and call those (SUch as the LG Prada) that were out before it copies. They basically seem to be punishing the diehard Apple fans and gadget-freaks by doing this, and that's their core market for the iPhone (unlike the iPod which has broader appeal). To be honest, I was never going to buy one anyway. They’re too pricey, and being locked into their mobile operator isn’t appealing. I reckon apple's next move will be to have their updates blow up hardware that's been hacked in any way. After all, you could still pretend you had a pretty working iPhone. There are some interesting arguments going on from this. Basically, if you buy the phone, should apple be able to disable it? Is it not yours to do with as you please? If I buy a Ford, and ford have a deal with shell, can ford send a signal to fry my engine if I buy petrol at Morrisons? Or if I fit Oz alloys and a thumpin Bose stereo for when I'm crusin.
