Well, Grant Morrison is running his Batman RIP storyline...

What Final Crisis is actually about is pretty secret at the moment (certainly I don't think I've read anything about it), so it'll be interesting to see what's pulled out of the bag. I do know that its something to do with the New Gods, and the rise of the Fifth World, but I imagine there'll be a lot more to it.

Or at least, I hope so, since the New Gods stuff has never clicked for me.

I think half the marvel reading public is hoping for SPidey to be a Skrull, and I always thought that was Joe Q's getout clause if Brand new day flopped.

I did read an interview on Newsarama that they've been strict with the tie-ins on this one, basically the story had to contribute soemthing and be related, not just have a skrull in it. We'll see. There was also apparently a shouting match between Loeb and Bendis over someone being or not being a SKrull. Intriguing.

We know Wolverine isn't a skrull, his continuity is bad enough as is. I still reckon thats a ship of Skrulls, but if it is the mix then is it possible those on the ship don't know their companions are skrulls? Some good storytelling opportunities there.

So is DC's response to Kill Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Ambush Bug?
